Fishing Report for 8-10-12

We are seeing a nice stretch or more moderate temperatures in our weather this week, very nice! Yesterday I fished with a Dad and his two young sons out on LCO. We had a good time catching big 8 to 9 inch Bluegills, they were bitting one after another for a couple hours. Our youngest fisherman on board also caught and released a 17 inch smallmouth bass, that was a nice fish. We picked up a pike as well just before a thunderstorm chased us off the lake early.
I have been noticing that the walleye fishing is picking up a little on the lakes I’ve been fishing lately.
Water temps are now in the mid 70’s.
Good luck and good fishing,
Jim Stroede
