Fishing Report for 7-27-13

What a difference a few days makes! With a recent cool down in our weather water temps on area lakes have dropped like a brick from 80 to the 67 I had this morning. Not surprisingly the bite has fallen off too. This week we struggled to catch a few walleyes here and there, this morning we boated four. The fish are still in the weeds but a more precise presentation is needed to get bit. Leeches or Gulp still are the top bait choices. We managed some action on muskies from only smaller fish this week. The weather is expected to moderate starting Sunday so I’m hopeful of better results.
