We’ve had strange weather around here this early summer. Cool nights and lots of overcast /rainy days have put a damper on warming water temps that are common this time of year. The results have been inconstant fishing so far for all species. Walleyes have really been up and down. Yesterday morning we struggled mightily on the Chippewa Flowage to find them, only to do real well in the evening on a Spooner area lake. We caught and released 10 or 12 walleyes all between 14 to 17 inches on jigs and leeches.
Good luck and good fishing,
