Fishing Report for 10-27-13

Water temps have been dropping steadily on area waters. On the lakes I’ve been fishing we’re seeing 42 to 45 degrees. Muskies are bitting well most days, we got four today. Suckers are getting hit but the bites are light and they don’t always swim off with the sucker, but rather they just sort of hang around holding on to it. Because of this we’re missing on quite a few hook sets. Vertical jigging is working good, we three out of four today jigging. Let’s hope the weather holds and we can fish into late November this year.
Good luck and good fishing,
Jim Stroede
