Fishing Report for 10-13-2011

Warmer than normal weather around the area has kept water temps on local lakes at or above 60 degrees, and has adversly affected fishing. I’ve done a couple of trips for crappies on the Chippewa Flowage. One day with a lot wind we had a tough time hooking light biting fish, the next time out with calmer conditions we did much better on crappies. Muskies have really been tough this week, not much happening on casted artificials or on suckers the last few days. Smaller lakes are currently doing a little better then the bigger lakes.

Good luck and good fishing,
