Fishing Report for 1-7-13

Ice fishing is in full swing now with most lakes having 8 to 12 inches of ice cover. Bluegills are bitting really good on lakes near Spooner. Weeds in 6 to 12 feet of water are producing nicely. I haven’t hear much about walleyes, but pike and bass are hitting minnows under tip ups. This is going to be a warm week so lots of folks should be out on the ice this weekend.
Good luck and good fishing,
Jim Stroede
